Totem Pals collaborated with Global Conservation Force, a nonprofit conservation organization dedicated to wildlife conservation, education, and wildlife protection globally, to create the Rhino Conservation Tales Kit. This set is comprised of the Rhino Rescue Board Game, Thembi the Rhino's Brave Journey & Rhino Rangers Workbook, and a Facilitator Guide for a pilot kit set to be used for conservation partner organizations in the USA and South Africa.
The Rhino Rescue Board Game: A Co-Operative Strategy Board Game
Work together to guide the white and the black rhinos safely across the Savannah to their homes.
Along the way, dodge the poacher, avoid the trap zones, and restore the beneficiary species from the Umbrella Spots back to the Biodiversity Zone. Call on the Rescue Center and the Legal Court when the rhinos need help. Can your team outsmart the poacher and bring every rhino home?
Thembi the Rhino's Brave Journey Storybook
Can rhinos turn into superheroes for the planet? When little Thembi the rhino calf gets separated from his mother, he begins a brave journey to find her. Along the way, he and his siblings meet a singing pangolin, a rapping tortoise, and a sharp-eyed ostrich couple, each sharing clues and songs that bring them one step closer.
Through changing seasons, unexpected dangers, and discoveries about the Savannah and its animal residents, Thembi slowly learns what it truly means to be a rhino, and how every stomp, snip, and dig helps protect the ecosystem and animals around him.
